Our mission is simple: to honor and support the well-being of those who serve by providing a peaceful outdoor experience for rest, recovery, and reconnection.

Multi‑day outdoor experiences designed to foster decompression, strengthen relationships, and build peer connections, all rooted in Guardian Grounds’ mission of healing heroes through nature and relationship.
Counseling Services
Professional therapeutic support tailored to the unique stressors faced by heroes and their families.
Peer Support and Chaplaincy
Compassionate, evidence‑based peer and spiritual guidance to foster resilience and community.
Treatment Referrals and Coordination
Direct connections to trusted clinical partners and coordinated pathways for ongoing care.
Practical or Logistical Treatment Support
Assistance with navigating resources, scheduling, and access to services that reduce barriers to healing.

Everyone in your organization may not align perfectly with your vision, but they damn sure better be mission-driven and oriented. Fluff the vision all that you wish, but leave the mission short and concise. Every board member and employee should be able to recite a mission statement off the top of their head.

Huge multifaceted entity, but a very concise and direct mission statement. Our mission statement is strong and powerful. It is what we are GOING to do, not what we hope to, or may, do.

To create a sanctuary of solace and rejuvenation exclusively dedicated to our Nation's heroes—veterans, first responders and their families.
What we do today
We fills gaps through trusted partners and direct assistance. That may include outdoor experiences, counseling connections, peer support, chaplaincy, referrals to appropriate treatment providers, transportation or logistical help needed to reach treatment, and support through aligned nonprofit partners.
What we are building toward
We are raising funds to acquire a permanent property where more of these experiences, services, classes, stays and partner-delivered support can eventually be brought together.
